TREATMENTS

Personalised Menopause Treatments, Including HRT and Non-HRT Options

Menopause HRT

HRT

We offer a range of HRT options (including body identical HRT), tailored to your individual needs, preferences, and medical history. These include oestrogen delivered via patches, gels, sprays, or tablets, alongside progesterone where needed to protect the lining of the womb.

We take time to talk through the benefits and risks of each option with you, helping you feel confident in choosing what’s right for you. Your treatment is regularly reviewed and adjusted as needed, with the aim of helping you feel your best while supporting your long-term health.

Menopause Non HRT

Non HRT

We also offer a range of non-hormonal treatment options for those who are unable to take HRT or prefer not to use HRT. These may include prescription medications to help manage symptoms such as hot flushes, sleep disturbance, or low mood, as well as evidence-based lifestyle advice and non-prescription options.

Your treatment will be tailored to your individual needs and regularly reviewed to ensure it remains effective and appropriate for you.

Menopause Lifestyle

LIFESTYLE

Our lifestyle and wellbeing advice focuses on supporting your overall health alongside your menopause treatment. We provide personalised guidance on nutrition, exercise, sleep, emotional wellbeing and maintaining a healthy weight, all of which can have a positive impact on menopausal symptoms.

Where appropriate, we may also discuss supplements and practical strategies to improve day-to-day wellbeing. This holistic approach works alongside your HRT or non-HRT treatments to help you feel your best.

Menopause Testosterone

TESTOSTERONE

Testosterone can be prescribed as part of a personalised menopause treatment plan for women experiencing symptoms such as low libido, particularly where HRT alone is not providing sufficient benefit. Following a full assessment, including discussion of symptoms and potential risks, we may recommend testosterone therapy.

Prescribing is carried out in line with British Menopause Society guidance, recognising that its use in women is specialist and often off-label. Blood tests are required before starting treatment, repeated at 3 months to ensure levels are within the therapeutic range, and then monitored annually. Regular follow-up is required to assess effectiveness, safety, and to tailor dosing to your individual response.
