Dr Sadiya Chaudhry
I am a practising NHS GP and BMS-registered menopause specialist, with over 10 years of clinical experience in women’s health. My background includes working in specialist clinics managing complex menopause care, contraception, and fitting and removing contraceptive implants.
My passion for women’s health inspired me to establish Serene Health Innovations — a clinic created to provide compassionate, personalised, and evidence-based menopause care in a calm, supportive, and welcoming environment.
I understand that every woman’s experience of perimenopause and menopause is unique. For many women, this stage of life can feel confusing, overwhelming, and at times isolating. Often, what matters most is feeling truly listened to, understood, and reassured.
My approach is warm, person-centred, and holistic. I believe in taking the time to understand each woman’s symptoms, concerns, lifestyle, and goals so that together we can create a treatment plan that feels right for her. Whether you are looking for guidance, reassurance, or specialist treatment options, you will be supported with care, empathy, and clear evidence-based advice throughout your journey.
At Serene Health Innovations, our aim is to help women feel informed, confident, and empowered in their health and wellbeing through every stage of the menopause. This can be a challenging and uncertain time, but you do not have to navigate it alone — we are here to support you with understanding, expert-led, and compassionate care every step of the way.
Once your booking has been confirmed, we will ask you to complete some forms, including a menopause questionnaire. This helps us to gain a better understanding of your symptoms, concerns, and medical background so we can thoroughly prepare ahead of your consultation and make the most of your appointment time.
Your initial menopause consultation is a calm, face-to-face review in a discreet and comfortable setting, designed entirely around you. Your specialist will take time to carefully listen to your symptoms, explore your medical history and lifestyle in detail, and provide a clear understanding of your menopause stage.
As part of your review, we will check your weight and blood pressure, and may also recommend blood tests at this stage (these incur an additional cost). Your specialist will guide you through tailored treatment options—including HRT, non-hormonal therapies, and refined lifestyle strategies—ensuring every decision feels informed and personal.
You’ll leave feeling reassured, understood, and supported, with a personlised plan and clear next steps to restore your wellbeing and confidence.
Your 3-month review is an important follow-up designed to ensure your treatment is working effectively and safely. During this appointment, we will review your symptoms, discuss any improvements or ongoing concerns, and assess how you are responding to your current HRT or non-HRT treatments.
If needed, we may adjust your dose or treatment type to better suit your needs. We will also address any side effects, review your general wellbeing, and provide personalised advice on lifestyle and long-term health.
By the end of the consultation, you will have a clear plan moving forward, with ongoing support to help you feel your best.
Your annual review is a routine check to ensure your treatment remains safe, effective, and appropriate for your ongoing needs. During this appointment, we will review your current symptoms, overall health, and response to your HRT or non-HRT regimen, making any necessary adjustments.
If your treatment is stable, your care can often be transferred back to your GP, provided they are happy to take over prescribing and ongoing care. If not, you will need to continue with annual reviews in order to receive repeat prescriptions, ensuring safe prescribing.
If it has been more than 12 months since your last review, a new initial consultation will be required before treatment can be restarted.
